Hey Friends,
We are currently in an 8 week series entitled Identity Theft. I would love to hear from all of you!
I am looking for examples of lies that we have believed about ourselves either growing up or as a result of the messages culture sends. I will not use your name... I'm just looking for a brief statement of a belief that affected self-esteem or confidence either for you or for someone you know. For example, I struggled with self-esteem. I believed how I looked impacted my worth and value. So the lie I believed was I had to be pretty to have value.
If you have an idea, would you consider sharing it with me? If you have an experience or a testimony you are comfortable sharing I would love to hear about that as well. Again, this is completely confidential... I won't use any names.
If you know of anyone else who might also like to answer please feel free to forward this email. The more response the better.
Tune in @ 11:00 on Wednesdays - Check the show site for details @

Walking it Well Radio Program
Finally!
After months of delays, Walk it Well is under way. Today I hosted my first short introduction show... I had to make sure I didn't crash the network! I think it went okay for my first show.
So what are we doing? Walk it Well! Is all about applying the truths of Scripture to our lives. 2 Timothy3:16 says this:
"All Scripture is God breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God (or woman) may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (NIV)
What does that mean? It means that what God says in His word is designed to:
Teach us... Teach us what? Everything we need to know as children of the Living God
Correct our wrong attitudes and actions
Train us in righteousness - which is a big word for right living. 1 John 3:7 says, "He who does what is right is righteous." (NIV)
Now this is where I need the help. I am not perfect. I blow it and make mistakes all the time but...I am not the same person I was last week, last month, or last year. I am a work in progress. The more timeI spend face to face with God in His Word, the more He teaches me how to live, shows me where my thinking needs to be transformed and renewed, and trains me in how to do what is right.
It is that process of teaching, correcting, and training that we will be talking about. Friend, it is a process. Walking it Well really is about holding on with both hands to the hem of the Master's garmet while he leads and guides us down the path He has for our lives. I believe that in community, we can grow, encourage, challenge, and love each other as we all just try to live as His follower. It is my prayer that God would use this program to increase the fame and glory of Jesus Christ, to encourage you, and that through everything said you would be encourage to take another step in your journey with Jesus. May you clearly hear the voice of our Master whispering "this is the way, walk in it".
Looking forward to next week... our topic is Walking in Love.
Till next time,CJ

Walk the Walk
Hello!
This blog has been created to encourage, equip and enpower you as you walk the path of discipleship.
As a follower of Christ, we know that God calls us to become Christlike. That means that we must "grow up" in Him. We watch our Master, Jesus and then learn from His example. How do we that? By reading His word, and learning to prayerfully apply it to our lives. I honestly believe, and I know Ann does too, that God's word is our guidebook for life. We will never encounter a situation or circumstance that Jesus doesn't show us how to handle.
If there is one thing I have learned on my journey down the path of discipleship it is this... it is not easy. We all know that growing up is hard. Remember what it was like to grow into an adult? Growing up in Christ, learning to be like Him and act Him will be a life long journey. It will be full of rich experiences.
No matter what life throws our way our job is to seek His guideance. It is to listen for that small voice that God promises will be there to guide you...
21 Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left. (Is 30:21 NASB).
I'm not saying the path that we are led down will be easy... when is character building ever an easy task? Isn't that what growing up in Christ really is, developing Christ like character?
We can learn and grow together. We can share the process with each other... that is what we want to do with you. It is our prayer that you will blessed and encouraged by what you read here. It is our hope that you will share with us your journey so that we can learn from you too.

- We well feel joy, and we will feel pain.
- We will experience victory, and we will fail.
- We will know the joy of being loved by our spiritual family, and we will know the pain of being criticised by them too.
